Mach Machines specializes in making advanced welding automation accessible to fabricators of all sizes. We’re the welding-focused integrator that empowers U.S. manufacturers to achieve the high-mix, low-volume automation they never thought possible—complete with the tools and training to maintain programming independence.

Our Story

Mach Machines was founded by our CEO, Jandre TerreBlanche, after he witnessed a troubling disconnect in U.S. manufacturing. While working in fabrication software for CNC cutting machines, he observed companies running incredibly efficient laser cutting and machining operations, but their expensive welding robots sat idle and dusty, unused because they were too complex to program effectively.

This inefficiency stood in stark contrast to Europe and Asia, where robotic adoption rates were significantly higher. Jandre recognized that U.S. fabricators needed better tools to make automation accessible, not just available.

The breakthrough came when Jandre discovered a Finnish software company called Delfoi that had developed intuitive robot programming software. After flying to Helsinki and securing an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement, he began introducing this game-changing technology to American manufacturers. The software enabled welders with no robotics experience to program complex welding operations in minutes rather than weeks.

As customers experienced success with the software, they began asking Jandre to provide complete robot systems. This demand led to partnerships with leading manufacturers like Yaskawa and the founding of Mach Machines as the full-service automation company we are today.
